FEST ROUND TABLE

The Fest Directorate shall organize a round table on the topic Southeast Europe Women Directors. The round table shall be held on February 26th, from 11h do 14h in Sava Center, Conference Room 3, Level 0. The whole concept was initiated by Director Slobodan Sijan.

The moderator will be Ronald Halloway, the renowned film critic and expert for Southeast European film.

The introductions will be provided by Professor Dina Iordanova, renowned Historian of Southeast European film; Bernd Buder, film critic and associate of the Forum of the Berlin Festival; and Silke Johanna Rabinger, the Director of the Women’s Film Festival in Dortmund.

After the speeches by the moderator and the introductions, a discussion with the participants of the round table will ensue. The participants will be distinguished Serbian film theoricians and critics.

The Fest Directorate shall provide for simultaneous translation and sound recording of this important lateral event of the 37th FEST, aiming for the round table to become the first in a series of such events in the future of the Belgrade Film Festival.
