FROM THE BRAZILIAN SUMMER INTO THE BELGRADE WINTER

It is an Honour to be in the Company of Great Directors and Actors
After Vim Wenders, Jirzy Menzl, Liv Ulmann, Ken Russell, Volker Schlendorf, Luc Besson, Theo Angelopoulos, Harvey Keitel and many others, the Golden Seal in the Yugoslav Film Archive was presented today to Ralph Fiennes. The famous actor was delighted to be in the company of such great names.
“Thank you. It is truly a great honour to be in such an exceptional company of great directors and actors. This is my third time in Belgrade, you are very hospitable and I’m already beginning to make friends. I want to thank the FEST Directorate for having decided that the Festival be opened by Steven Duldry’s “the Reader”. Of course, I want to thank the Yugoslav Film Archive for honouring me with the Golden Seal. Hvala”, Mr. Fiennes concluded his speech in Serbian.
