SCREENWRITER, SERBIA, JURY PRESIDENT
Ljubica Luković was born in 1990 in Belgrade. She graduated in dramaturgy at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, and completed a master’s program in Serial Storytelling in Köln, specializing in TV series dramaturgy. She is the author of the screenplay for the series Awake, which premiered at the Canneseries Festival 2021, where she won the Audience Award. She also wrote screenplays for the movie How I Learned to Fly, and the Block 27 series.
Filip Djurić completed his master’s degree in acting at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, in the class of prof. Jasna Djuričić. He starred in the feature films Autumn in My Street, My Morning Laughter and Working Class Heroes. For My Morning Laughter, in which he played the lead role, he won the Naisa Grand Prix for Best Acting 2020 at the Festival of Acting Achievements in Niš, special recognition together with his colleague Ivana Vuković at the Motovun Film Festival, as well as recognition for leading male role in Balkan Nordic Film Festival 2021. He starred in the series Group, 12 Words, Awake and Black Wedding. For his role in the play The Seagull he won the Predrag Pedja Tomanović Award for the best acting achievement of the Serbian National Theater in Novi Sad in 2013. He is also the laureate of the Golden Antenna for Acting Revelation of the Year at the FEDIS Festival in Belgrade.
Strahinja Madžarević was born in 1989 in Novi Sad. He completed his undergraduate and master’s academic studies in dramaturgy at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, where he is currently pursuing doctoral studies. He is the author of several dramatic texts, of which the play Molding: The Tragedy of Balling in Serbs stands out, which has been on the repertoire of the Vuk Karadžić Theater since 2016. Last year, he made his debut in Serbian cinematography with the screenplay for the feature film Loan Shark directed by Nemanja Ćeranić, which premiered at the 49th FEST. He is the co-screenwriter of the Group series and the co-creator and screenwriter of the Black Wedding series.
