The film A Fleeting Dream is a story about a rock and roll group that outlived the country (Yugoslavia) it was named after, but also a story about a family. The film follows the three Jelić brothers who are born and grow up together with the new Yugoslavia. The story intertwines between the fate of the country, the fate of the group and the family. This simultaneously epic yet deeply intimate film creatively uses archival footage and never-before-seen Super 8 footage to tell a story of endurance, love and struggle. Unlike the usual music documentaries, this is also a surprisingly intimate look at what it means to be in a band together, to stay together, to fight and overcome and what it means to be a part of history. 80 years of life, 60 and a half years of playing rock and roll, 50 and a half years of the YU Group and 45 years of a former country went into this unique film, shot for seven years. During the seven years of filming, the whole planet has changed, but Zika Jelić says at the concert: There are still no changes in Yu Group...
