Jugoslav Pantelić is the director of The Yugoslav Film Archive. He was Executive Director of TV Studio, where he has been a longstanding Film Programme Editor and Film Critic. He is a member of the European Film Academy (since 2012) and the current Artistic Director of FEST. He has authored many television and radio shows (Cinema Club, Tačno u podne, Popcorn, Hronika Festa, Hronika Festivala autorskog filma...), special programs and interviews from the world of film and has reported for two decades from the most important international film events. Pantelić has a degree in communicology and author of hundreds of exclusive interviews with the most renowned international and national filmmakers. He was member of the FEST Council for two mandates and presided over the Council in 2005. He was a selector for the film festivals in Paris, Novi Sad and Palic, as well as member of the jury of national film festivals. Pantelić was awarded the Award of the City of Belgrade for journalism in 2012, as well as the Silver Plaque of the FEST Head Office, as well as many recognition letters from national film festivals. He is the initiator of the Nebojša Đukelic Award, extended by film critics for Best Film of FEST. Jugoslav Pantelić was born and is living in Belgrade.
