ONE MORE DAY

At the age of ninety-four, Grandma Smilja grapples with loneliness, finding solace amidst the faded walls of her country home steeped in memories. Much like her neighbors, her children and grandchildren left the village long ago in search of a better life. Her only opportunity for conversation is with the arrival of the postman who brings her pension once a month. After his departure, silence reverberates through the house, harshly reminding her that loneliness in old age is unbearable. Despite this, Grandma Smilja finds glimpses of life in the sounds that surround her.

RADIVOJE BUKVIĆ

Radivoje Rasha Bukvić is a Serbian and French actor known for roles in movies A Good Day to Die Hard (2013), The Transporter Refueled (2015), and Taken (2008). He works between Belgrade, Paris, and Los Angeles. In 2001, he got a Bachelor’s degree in Acting at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, after which he performed in theaters in Belgrade. The role in the French movie La Californie (2006), directed by Jacques Fieschi got him nominated for the César Award by the French Film Academy in the category the Most Promising Actor in French film, which opened him many doors in the whole world. The award was followed by the movie Taken (2008), for which Luca Besson wrote the script and it was directed by Pierre Morela, Largo Winch (2008) by Jérôme Salle, Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky (2009) directed by Jan Kounen, and numerous others. The role in the popular American film series A Good Day to Die Hard (2013) made him a member of the American Screen Actors Guild (SAG). His role in the TV series Besa (2018-) won him critical acclaim in Serbian film production.
